Last Week

Archery Open was in Lyondemere on Saturday. Lord Lodovico and others attended; it sounded like fun.

There was a Silk Pennon Painting workshop during Craft Night last night, led by Lady Gwen. Several eager Isles-ians made 15 little flags for use at Anniversary, using the same techniques as the larger workshop we are considering organizing in the spring. If you are interested in helping Gwen paint more on Saturday afternoon, please let her know.

This Week

Dreiburgen Anniversary is on Saturday, October 25th, in Jurupa Valley, CA. Lord Paul will be going; is anyone else?

Agincourt Tourney is at Woodley Park in Van Nuys, on Sunday, October 26h. There will probably be a sizable group of Isles-ian archers and throwers attending; email the list if you’re looking for a ride.

Further Away & Other Bits

Fall Coronation and Queen’s Champion are November 1st and 2nd in Gyldenholt. Don’t forget about the Dirty Dozen Donation Derby and the Shire presentation to Their Highnesses. Gwen will coordinate the latter and will be asking pretty much every week between now and then.

Isles Anniversary is November 15th. Have you talked to Paul about what you’re helping out with yet?

The Shire has a Facebook Group, for those who are so inclined to discuss things there.
