Last Week

The first (of hopefully many) Isles Brew Day was on Sunday hosted by Lord Paul and Lady Gwen. Beer was started, mead was moved along, and fun was had. The Honorable Lady Medb ingen Eochaid  and Lord Philip de Greylonde  — who will be moving to Isles from Altavia at the end of May — also put in an appearance, which was much appreciated (particularly because Philip has been recognized for his brewing skill with a Harp Argent). If you are interested in having more days like this, or have brewing projects you would like to work on, talk to Paul.

This Week

Potrero War is this weekend. If you don’t know what that is, you’re probably not going.

Further Away & Other Bits

Pre-registration for Great Western War (October 8-13 in Wintermist/Taft, CA) is open.  There is an Isles camp.  If you register by May 31st, you get extra land for free!  http://caid-gww.org/

The next Shire meeting is Tuesday, June 3rd, at 6:30pm at Todde and Mora’s. Rumor has it that some people might be bringing some period food to try…

Coronation and Queen’s Champion are June 7-8 in Carreg Wen (Solvang & Lompoc, CA respectively).
