Last Week

Gyldenholt Unbelted was on Saturday. Prowess was demonstrated, honor was upheld, and glory was won. Her Majesty hosted a tea at which the Ladies of the Rose led a discussion about what it means to be an inspiration for a fighter. If you want to know more about what transpired, talk to The Honorable Lady Mora, Lady Gwen, or Lord Paul.

This Week

Filthy Dirty Collegium will be at UCSB’s College of Creative Studies on Saturday, February 1st, 2014:

  • The class schedule has been posted for your planning pleasure.
  • There will be a potluck feast after the classes are done. Please bring a side dish to share.
  • During feast, there will be bardic and dessert competitions. See the event web site for additional information.
  • The Event Stewards, Lord Paul fitz Denis and Lady Gwen Hir, are still looking for a few more volunteers to help with gate. Contact them if you can help out.

The monthly Shire Business Meeting is on Tuesday, at Rusty’s Pizza on Storke Road, at 6:30pm.

Further Away & Other Bits

Lyondemere Arts and Archery is coming up on Sunday, February 9th. Given the number of archers in the Shire, we suspect some people may be going.

The Shire has a Facebook Group, for those who are so inclined to discuss things there.
