Last Week
Queen’s Champion Archery and Thrown Weapons was on Saturday in Altavia. Congratulations to Lord Lodovico of the Isles who qualified for the archery finals and finished in a tie for fourth place. Her Majesty’s new Champions are Baron Jon Thomme de Claydon (Target Archery), Master Donn son of Fergus (Thrown Weapons), and Nicholai Stagghorn (Youth Target Arts).
This Week
Medieval Marketplace in the Barony of the Angels and Wintermist Yule in the Shire of Winterwist are on Saturday. Is anyone in the Shire planning on attending either of these events?
Further Away & Other Bits
Angels/Altavia Yule will be on Saturday, December 7th, as will Festival of the Rose/Calafia Winter Arts. Gyldenholt/Lyondemere Yule will be on Sunday, December 8th. Sources indicate both of those Yule celebrations will have attendees from Isles.
Twelfth Night will be on Saturday, January 4th, in Calafia.
Filthy Dirty Collegium will be at UCSB’s College of Creative Studies on February 1st, 2014. Lord Paul fitz Denis and Lady Gwen Hir are the Event Stewards.
