Last Week (-ish)
Great Western War was two weeks ago, and it was awesome. Among the things that happened:
- The Honorable Lady Mora Ottavia Spadera emerged victorious in the Bridesmaid Rapier Tourney.
- Don Angus le Todde MacDonnell reached the semi-finals of the the rapier portion of the Valkyrie Rose Tourney, where he faced eventual champion Ex-Islesian Don Alexander Kallidokos.
- Lord Lodovico medalled in the archery clout shoot.
- Lady Gwen Hir was recognized with a full set of “War Through the Ages” tokens for the four periods’ worth of garb she made for herself and Lord Paul fitz Denis.
- Many classes were taken, fights were fought, food was eaten, drinks were drunk, princesses were attended, jenga was jenga-ed, songs were sung, and great fun was had.
This Week
Agincourt Tourney is Sunday at the Woodley Park archery range. It sounds like there a bunch of people from the Shire going.
Further Away & Other Bits
Fall Coronation and Queen’s Champion is November 2nd. Who is planning on going?
Isles Anniversary is November 16th. Lady Delphine is the Event Steward. Watch for glass bead-making (for site tokens) workshops to be announced soon.
